The House of Visa is like an island and is a clear architectural symbol in the landscape allowing the re-creation of Slottsholmen and the park that is respected and preserved. Promenades are linked to the existing and to the houses of the show are clearly connected with the sea, the city of Västervik and the Stegeborg castle ruins.

Visa's House is a designed as a city. The city is organized with a central square in the building's interior and with nearby streets. The different activities are: the exhibition hall, the Visa, the exhibitions, the collections and the training and are housed each in a separate building, having their own separate entrance from the square. These activities are then linked together by inner circulations spaces that facilitate mutual communication and create a harmonious and flexible whole.
