The projects consists in the expansion and transformation of a roof space in a residential home, organising into an office space for the owner.

The advantage of the elevated position requests a project with important openings facing the lake of Lugano and justifies the contrast between the traditional characteristics of the villa and the high-tech elements such as the stainless steel stair, the epoxy-resin floor, the generous window openings.

The resulting ofiice is a bright space, where natural lights floods in and reflects on the various architectural elements. The modern architectural settings is well balanced by the solid wood furniture installed by the owner, manufactured in Perù by the charity foundation “Artesanos Don Bosco”
