This study covers a compartment comprising several properties in the area of Besso district in Lugano. The goal is to prepare a planning instrument that will define the construction rules of the site, considering urban planning, architectural, landscape, public spaces and functional aspects. The area is located in front of the church of San Nicolao and has as its reference object in the historical building Ex-Veladini, protected at the municipal level. In the immediate proximity there are a series of smaller scale buildings owned by the heirs Riva Righetti, commissioners of his study. We want to define and plan the future building possibilities of this property, at the same time developing a proposal for a district plan for the sector, as foreseen by the planning norms of the Municipality of Lugano. We are therefore preparing a proposal that will reaches mutual satisfaction of all the owners concerned and that responds to the aims and objectives formulated and agreed with the Division of urban planning and environment of the City of Lugano.
