The project is a single-family house located in Morbio Inferiore, southern Switzerland: it is organized in a volume with a simple minimalist rectangular shape. On the ground floor, in direct relationship with the garden, are organized in an open and flexible space the living rooms, dining and the kitchen. The bedrooms are located on the upper floor, all oriented to the southwest. The built volume, of oblong shape, integrates the residential spaces and the garage inside a continuous wall, which, raising as a "barrier", encloses and protects the intimate space of the garden. The only exception in the continuous white wall is the setback with a linear textured metal panel that defines the entry area on the ground floor. The choice to operate with a long and narrow shape allows to obtain a good horizontal depth of garden, despite the relatively small depth of the site.

The construction system used is with external insulation, plastered with a fine finish a painted in white color. The spaces to the south-west, which open with large glass openings towards the garden and the view, are protected by a concrete cantilever frame : this construction element becomes a precise sign that characterizes the main front, generating as well in summer some outside fresher areas thanks to the projecting shadows.
